The Whangarei Heads Arts Trail began in 2012 and has rapidly grown to become one of North Islands premier Art Experiences
During Easter weekend each year up to 45 artists, all located on Whangarei Heads, stage simultaneous studio and community venue exhibitions so that visitors from around the country can take in the spectacular scenery whilst browsing through the amazing selection of work available.
The 2025 event will take place on 19 - 20 April 10am - 5pm with 45 local artists and guest artists showing an amazing array of work that includes, prints, paintings, art photographs, wood turning, carving, glass blowing and casting, domestic and sculptural ceramics, metal work, jewellery, textiles, wearable art and flax weaving.
