Dunedin Leisure Lodge will be in the line of totality for the solar eclipse on 22 July 2028. The centre line of the moon’s shadow path will pass directly through Dunedin city, ensuring the maximum eclipse experience, with the sun completely blocked by the moon for 2 minutes and 51 seconds.

3 x nights accommodation between 20 - 24 July 2024 at Dunedin's only garden hotel; Dunedin Leisure Lodge. Spend your weekend exploring Dunedin's scenic landscapes which will provide a stunning backdrop to the cosmic spectacle, allowing you time to identify your perfect eclipse viewing spot.

Fresh eggs, sizzling bacon, toasted hash browns, a range of fresh fruit to accompany cereals and mueslis, warm baked pastries and much more. Buffet breakfast is served from 6.30am - 9.30am Monday - Friday & 7am - 10am Saturday - Sunday in the hotel's McGavin's Restaurant (excludes room service).
